Allan Grant RSE, MBA (cand.)
President & Founder
Allan has spent the last 30+ years in the film & television and food & beverage industries. After training for an acting career at reputable schools such as the Banff Centre and the National Theatre of London, he pursued a career both in front of, and behind, the camera. After founding and operating his own theatre company producing and acting in award winning productions in Vancouver, he then embarked on a cooking apprenticeship and pursued a career in the kitchen. He worked in award winning kitchens throughout Western Canada learning the trade, earned his Red Seal in Cooking and culminated his cooking career with becoming an Executive Chef.
Allan moved into Food distribution sales, excelling in the role of Culinary Consultant, Category Management, Sales Specialist, Sales Manager and ultimately acting General Manager. His authentic nature, unique skill set, personal experiences, and honesty along with his consultative approach, aid in the success of all he comes in contact with.

Allan thrives on working closely with all his clients in achieving a better way of doing business, navigating the challenging waters of business ownership/management, and ultimately helping to achieve peace of mind, abundance, and overall success.
Now, with decades of experience working in and guiding companies to success in industries with traditionally microscopic margins Allan Grant is at home when the stakes are high. Allan has completed his MBA majoring in Entrepreneurship to further his ability to provide the best insight into hurdling business challenges. His passion for creating the right systems, accountability at every level of an organization and improving culture through mindset training has improved all organizations that he has come in contact with.
Consulting History
Over the past 15 years he has created many teams in various ventures. His experience in kitchens, building kitchens and his progression through the sales channel, provided a conduit to consulting in food service operations. He has coached successful sales teams, whilst improving overall company culture, and growing sales. After only one year of Allan’s influence, one of his teams achieved Branch of the Year.
With a wealth of experience with various industries including finance, insurance, the trades, not-for-profit for start-ups and established companies alike, Allan’s clear and focused approach helps business owners in many industries improve their results. Owners have similar goals and desires but do not always know how to achieve them. The owner’s mindset and the many problems that arise from ineffective systems such as, finance, culture, and customer service, can cause the entrepreneur to lose focus. Allan can target, assist in fine tuning operational requirements, and ensure sustainable growth.
Community & Family
Allan has acted as a Scouter with a Cub pack in NE Calgary, where his son attended, and is currently facilitating a program supporting new business owners who are starting businesses of their own. Many weekends are devoted to building and renovating a cherished family cottage and enjoying the great outdoors with his family and friends. He practices his love of music, playing guitar by the campfire, and playing the odd gig in Calgary coffee shops.
He and his wife are passionate about food, healthy living and are always on the lookout for that next great restaurant to try out.
